Originally located in Walnut Creek, CA., Travel Insurance Services was established in 1971 by Ralph Davis, a former tour operator. Several years ago they were purchased by a national brokerage company, Bertholon-Rowland Corp. which merged into USI Affinity. In September of 2012 they moved from Walnut Creek, CA to Columbus, OH.
USI Travel Insurance Services has since moved to Philadelphia, PA. In March of 2017, USI was purchased by a partnership of KKR and CDPQ.
